Want to work with elephants? - be a volunteer in Sumatra
Satwa Sumatra Elephant Ecolodge, in conjunction with Way Kambas Elephant Conservation Centre, announces the 2009 “Volunteer Elephant Package”. The package offers you a week of being an elephant carer. You will bathe, feed, play and ride your elephant. You will be expected to be useful and will work hard as the mahouts do. You can assist at the clinic and play with the baby elephants. The week costs $500 all inclusive of food, accommodation, airport transfers and activities, minimum two persons.
