At its Annual General Meeting held in Bali, Indonesia on 08 June, 2008, Eco Lodges Indonesia approved the establishment of an International Advisory Group - a collection of volunteer individuals from within Indonesia and abroad who bring unique knowledge and skills which complement the knowledge and skills of the formal Board members to achieve the 'Vision of Eco Lodges Indonesia'.

‘Supporting conservation and communities through profitable ecotourism ventures’

The IAG provide a Think-Tank, and Advocacy Panel for challenging issues confronting Eco Lodges Indonesia. They act as a respected sounding board, a source of ideas and expertise - and give honest, considered, advice. They are willing participants in the practice of group inclusiveness, cross cultural tolerance, understanding and diversity. IAG members are drawn from candidates recognized nationally or internationally in their respective field of interest/expertise such as Strategic Government Relations, Sustainable Tourism, Environment, Wildlife Conservation, Millennium Development Goals Community Development, Biological Diversity, Media, Education & Training, Project Management, Financial Management, Business Leadership etc
